| A VIABLE PARTNERSHIP
– MAKE YOUR MONEY COUNT WITH THE APD
As a responsible corporate citizen, you want to invest
in a reputable organisation, which will not only utilise
your funds wisely, but also bring about mutually beneficial
results to both parties and make a real and lasting difference
at grassroots level. The APD can provide this opportunity.

6. Internal restructuring
plan has since March 2003 already resulted in: •
a professional management structure/system that
ensures good governance and transparency, •
clearly defined five-year strategic plan, •
revised Constitution, • sound HR policies,
• improved productivity, • reduction
in expenditure, and • increase in income.

FINANCIALS
In 2006/07 we foresee an operating expenditure of R5.182m.
This translates into a service delivery cost of only R2.45
per person per day - 7 cents less than during the previous
fiscal!
Corrective measures (part of the five-year strategic plan)
have already more than doubled the money secured through
fundraising projects over the past two years. We will, however,
have a net deficit of just over R1.6m unless we can generate
income through appeals/proposals to companies such as yours.
We will therefore welcome any financial contribution you
can make towards the APD.
