Every cent does count!

With a service delivery cost of a mere R3.48 per client per day, every cent counts at the APD. So whether you see our friendly volunteers in a shopping centre (like Maureen Glover pictured here) or our very distinctive tins at a shop pay point, please stop and support our very worthy cause. Our tins can be recognised by the blue disability symbol on the side, and the very distinctive yellow and black cartoon on the top.

U-RENT TRAILER HIRE
Generous beyond belief!

Our much used and needed trailer used for our Tin and Street collections was stolen during December 2007. It took one phone call to Terry Brown of U-RENT TRAILER HIRE and our problem was solved. This gentleman did not hesitate in offering the APD the use of a trailer for a whole month! Now our initial intention was to rent the trailer and we were hoping to bargain a decent rental fee and so his generosity was most unexpected.
